What are tokens and how do they work?
Tokens are the currency for Premium features. Each action costs a certain number of tokens: song summaries cost 1 token, chat messages cost 3 tokens, and AI-generated illustrations cost 5 tokens. Your Premium subscription includes 400 tokens every month, which is enough for hundreds of summaries.
Do unused tokens roll over?
Yes! Unused tokens carry over to the next month and never expire while your subscription is active. Your token balance is reset to 400 on each renewal — but if you purchased additional tokens on top, those are preserved separately up to a maximum balance of 2,000 tokens.
Can I buy tokens without a subscription?
Yes. One-time token packages are available to everyone, including users without an active subscription. Purchased tokens give you access to Premium features (cloud AI, illustrations, and more) for as long as your balance lasts.
What are AI-generated illustrations?
Illustrations are unique AI-generated images created specifically for the song you're listening to. Each illustration captures the mood, themes, and style of the track in a visual form. Generating an illustration costs 5 tokens.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes! You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
New users get 7 days of Premium access completely free, including a token balance to try all features. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged $5.99/month. You can cancel anytime during the trial with no charges.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes, we offer a money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you're not satisfied within 30 days of your initial purchase (after the trial period), you can request a full refund. See our

What payment methods do you accept?

What is Gemini Nano and how do I set it up?
Gemini Nano is Google's on-device AI that runs locally on your computer. It's completely free but requires initial setup. The extension will guide you through the setup process. Note: Gemini Nano only works with songs that have lyrics available in YouTube Music, YouTube subtitles, or LRCLib.
Is there a difference in AI quality between Free and Premium?
Yes. Free tier uses Gemini Nano (on-device model) which is smaller and optimized for your computer. Premium uses advanced cloud-based AI models that provide deeper, more nuanced analysis and better understanding of complex lyrics and metaphors. Both are great, but Premium offers more sophisticated insights.
Can Premium find lyrics for absolutely any song?
While Premium dramatically improves lyrics coverage using multiple lyrics sources and AI Agent search, it cannot guarantee lyrics for every song. Very new releases or extremely obscure tracks may not have lyrics available anywhere online yet. However, Premium finds lyrics for significantly more songs than the Free tier.
Will the price increase in the future?
If we need to adjust pricing, existing subscribers will be notified 30 days in advance. Your rate may be grandfathered depending on our pricing policy at that time.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes! All payments are processed by our trusted, PCI-compliant authorized payment processor. We NEVER see or store your credit card information — it goes directly to the payment processor over a secure encrypted connection.
What happens when my subscription expires?
When your subscription expires, your token balance from the subscription is removed. However, any tokens you purchased separately remain in your account and can still be used. You'll switch to the Free plan for features not covered by tokens.
