By installing and using the Music Summary Chrome Extension ("the Extension"), operated by EZlogic (independent developer), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Extension.

All music, lyrics, artwork, and related content accessed through YouTube Music remain the property of their respective copyright holders. The Extension does not claim any ownership of third-party content.
4.1. Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial of Premium features. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin, and you will be charged the monthly fee.
4.2. Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis at $5.99/month (plus applicable taxes based on your location).
4.3. Payment processing is handled by our authorized third-party payment processor. We do not directly process or store payment information.
4.4. You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information with the payment processor.
4.5. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our Refund Policy.
4.6. You may cancel your subscription at any time, including during the free trial. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period (or immediately if during trial).
4.7. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.
5.1. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
5.2. You may not share your account with others.
5.3. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
The Extension is not intended for users under 13 years of age. By using the Extension, you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use the Extension.
You agree NOT to:
8.1. The Extension uses artificial intelligence to generate original commentary, insights, and analysis about music. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies.
8.2. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
8.3. AI-generated content is provided for entertainment purposes and as a language learning aid to help understand song meanings.
8.4. You use AI-generated content at your own risk and discretion.
9.1. The Extension integrates with third-party services including YouTube Music, AI APIs (Google Gemini), and other platforms.
9.2. Your use of third-party services (including YouTube Music) is subject to their respective terms of service.
9.3. We are not responsible for third-party service availability, functionality, or changes to their terms.
9.4. The Extension enhances but does not replace or modify the core functionality of YouTube Music.
9.5. You must maintain valid access to YouTube Music (free or premium) to use the Extension.

10.1. The Extension software, AI prompts, character designs, interface, and original features are owned by EZlogic and protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
10.2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Extension.
10.3. All AI-generated commentary produced by the Extension is original content created by our AI systems.
Your use of the Extension is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Extension, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTENSION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EZlogic and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your violation of any third-party rights, including copyright or privacy rights, or (c) your use of the Extension.
15.1. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
15.2. Upon termination, your right to use the Extension will immediately cease.
15.3. You may terminate your use of the Extension at any time by uninstalling it and canceling your subscription.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the Extension, email, or updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
17.1. Good Faith Resolution: We are committed to resolving any disputes amicably. If you have any concerns about the Extension or these Terms, please contact us at ytmusicsummary@gmail.com and we will make good faith efforts to resolve the issue through direct communication.
17.2. Consumer Protection Laws: These Terms are subject to applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights under the laws of your country or region.
17.3. Local Laws Apply: Where your local consumer protection laws provide greater protection than these Terms, those local laws will take priority and apply. This includes but is not limited to laws in the EU, UK, USA, Australia, Canada, and other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection regulations.
17.4. Legal Remedies: If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, you may pursue remedies available under the laws of your country of residence. You retain all rights provided by your local consumer protection authorities.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and EZlogic regarding the Extension and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, network infrastructure failures, strikes, third-party service outages (including Google, Firebase, AI providers), or shortages of transportation, fuel, energy, labor or materials.
